story

One of the major classes in Architecture at the RCA was Measured Drawing (it had a few assignments on the basic education of architectural styles; it was really interesting, but all the students from England complained about it though). I bought this because I need it for an assignment surveying the ruins of St. Mark’s Church. I remember in my group was a student from Greece who was used to surveying old ruins; he had a great time teaching me how to do it very carefully. It’s a lovely measure made of wood, and I took it on all my travels and measured everything I was curious about. I still use it today.
