story

In Japan, I used triangular scale rulers to draw architectural plans, but I bought this Verulam scale rule immediately after a person I met showed one to me when I visited the office of Richard Rogers. Compared to physically bulky triangular scales, this one is efficiently designed to be handled well and it’s also flat so you can put them in your pencil case. The colour and arrangement of numbers is pleasing as well; I used it all through my RCA exchange days.
