Exchange Programs
Kyoto City University of Arts has student exchange agreements with Arts and Music institutions across the world. Our exchange program is one semester basis. This program is only for the students studying at following partner institutions of KCUA. If you are interested in participating or you have any questions about exchange program, please contact an exchange coordinator of your institution.
Application process
You must be officially nominated during a nomination period by your home institution before you can apply for exchange at KCUA. To apply for the program, please ask a coordinator/advisor in your institution for the nomination.
Once you are officially nominated, the link to the application form will be sent to you. We only accept applications made via the online application form.
・Nomination Period: 15th March to 30th April (for Autumn term), 15th September to 31st October (for Spring term)
・Application deadline: 15th May (for Autumn term), 15th November (for Spring term)
The result will come out after a month from the application deadline.
Once you are accepted, exchange coordinator will get in touch with you and give an instruction to apply for the student visa.
**Please note that all the Incoming exchange students have to find the accommodation by yourself since KCUA does not have a student dormitory.
